Join us in the Outback Off-Leash Dog Park for Shelby Farms Park Conservancy's most paw-some event: Dog-A-Roo! This pup-friendly festival offers a wide range of actives for your furry friend, including a talent + costume contest, rescue parades, the Four-legged 4K Fun Run, gourmet pet treats, pet specialist information sessions and more!

Admission: $5 donation per car (proceeds benefit Shelby Farms Park Conservancy). Pre-registered Four-legged 4K participants park for free!

MEET THE VET
Vet Clinics will lead discussion on a range of topics relating to canine health + wellness.

BOW WOW FUN ZONE | $3 per dog

Dogs will be able to take part in an agility course.

TRAINING + BEHAVIOR AREA | $15 per dog
Positive dog trainers will be hosting interactive games and leading free demonstrations and workshops on obedience and behavior modification. Trainers from Positive Training are offering the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) exam, a 10-step test certifying your dog as a well-mannered member of society. This test stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and good manners for pets in the home, in public, and in the presence of other dogs.

BOWTIQUES
Make your pet look their best! Local pet-focused businesses will offer information and services services, ranging from mobile grooming and pet boarding to jewelry + pet-friendly baked goods.

MAIN STAGE
Carrie Anderson will emcee Talent + Costume Contest, Parade of Rescues and live music!


FOOD TRUCK RODEO
Grab a bite to eat with great local vendors!

WORKING DOG DEMONSTRATIONS
Shelby County Search + Rescue and other local K-9 units will hold demonstrations throughout the day.

RESCUES + NONPROFITS
Adopt a pet! Local rescues will bring adoptable dogs and provide information on ways to support their work.
